With the new tariffs set to impact things on August 29, this could really change everything for my small business, and I can’t predict how it’ll affect my prices moving forward. 💡Transparent moment: I order my supplies from my manufacturer that is out of the country and there’s this thing called the de minimis exception. It basically means that if your incoming shipment from another country is valued below a certain threshold (right now, it’s $800), you might not have to worry about tariffs. Hopefully things change in the future, but as of right now this is the biggest challenge I’m facing and I’m sure other small businesses are facing as well.
